Posthumous Meritorious Service Medal
Major Cole was posthumously awarded the Meritorious Service Medal for her exceptional leadership and achievements from May 13, 2023 to October 2, 2024. Her team executed 26 strike operations and 224 reconnaissance missions, while she personally conducted 99 hours of on-network operations. Her leadership enabled three presidentially-directed operations and created the longest-running persistent engagement campaign in U.S. Cyber Command history, directly impacting the freedom of movement for nine million civilians in hostile environments. Under her command, her team was recognized as AFCYBER's 2023 USCYBERCOM Team of the Year and Air Combat Command's Information Dominance Team of the Year.

Concurrently, as a cyber operator, she conducted 99 hours of on-network mission developing access to adversary systems and gaining insight into 30 years of adversary research. Major Cole's ingenuity enabled the execution of three presidentially-directed operations and yielded the longest-running persistent engagement campaign in U.S. Cyber Command history, disrupting human rights abuses, and enabling the freedom of movement for nine million civilians in hostile environments. Furthermore, she forged Task Force Falcon's first cadre of eight Cyber Persona Operators, leading to two cyber effects operations with nine-weeks of sustained information operations. Finally, Major Cole's innate technical acumen, paired with her visionary leadership cemented the team's recognition as AFCYBER's 2023 USCYBERCOM Team of the Year and Air Combat Command's Information Dominance Team of the Year.
